nit 14 p6

a) social life. Choose from: human interaction eg text messaging, multimedia messaging, emails, virtual offices; health issues eg posture, RSI, eye strain; environmental effects eg visual impact of phone masts, disposal of components; illegal imagery:

  1. human interaction when you stay on a thing your addicted to like an Xbox you forget how to speak and loose loads of knowledge and cant be bothered doing thing like going out .if i did that i would be on the xbox but i think my mum would take it off me because my eye site would get wierd and start forgeting things
  2. visual impact phone masts when its in a country side for example and they put a huge pole coming from the ground and if you buy a new house in the country side it destroys your view . if i lived there i would be complaining because i just bought it and i bought it because there was a nice view but the next day they put a pole infront of it

b) the law. Choose from: data security eg accidental loss, theft; hacking activities eg wardriving, piggybacking:

  1. data security when you put a password on it so no one can get on it e.g our sims network because it has our addresses and things on it. they could get into your accounts e.g bank accounts and take all the money out for example but alsothey can log into your computers and delete everything .if it was me and i didnt put a password and someone got on it , it would be my fault because i havent put a password on it
  2. piggybacking when your at home and you connect to someone else's internet so your paying for someone to use your internet and there using it for free without you knowing so thats why you put a password on it. if my next door neighbour uses my internet without me knowing i will get the blame for it because its my broadband

A local delivery company have been allocated money to improve their service.  Some of the money has been put aside for mobile technology approx. £500 per driver.  Make suggestions to the director of how he can spend the money, to make the delivery service more efficient.  Give examples how the mobile technology will help the business?

The delivery company can improve there company by buying each driver a ' lg nexus ' to know what deliveries that they have delivered and know what ones to send because it has a big screen and also so it sends the company what they have delivered instantly. it would be better because the scanning machines are slow what they used to sign on and it would be better to use a phone because you can call of it and scan of it and also sign on it because its touch screen. this device will also have gps to show where to go so it saves buying a sat nav and a phone but you will need the 3g connectivity to conect to the internet so you can use the gps

A photographer from the local paper is upgrading his laptop and he wants your advice regarding how he can send his pictures to the news desk effectively from either home (where he has broadband) or on location (maybe through his smartphone).  Suggest the technology that can be used and describe how it works.

email because you can send it there and then and it will be with you in a minute

icloud use this because you can send things from home and then log on to your icloud and save it in your documents and also saves carrying things round like a laptop

multi-media message because you can send an image by your phone and it would be the same quality if its a good phone

when he has to use wi-fi at home he has to connect to his broadband and then to the internet.

3g is when you out and about and you have your laptop you can plug in your phone to your laptop and use the internet of your phone which is called personal hotspot or you can buy a network dongle from a network provider e.g o2 , which is when you connect to the dongle then the internet
