My protocol I used was Bluetooth, there are many positive and negative points to do with Bluetooth.

  • The positive points are:
  • - It quick and easy
  • -you can be at other ends of a room and it will still send
  • -should send through fine
  • -its free to use

  • However the negative points are:
  • -It can sometimes take ages depending on the memory span on your phone
  • -It wont send if your too far away in distance
  • -It can take ages for you to find the pair you want
  • -On some phones you need a code to pair with someone else ( which takes time)

other than bluetooth if you have a smartphone like a iphone you can click share a contact and then send it through either email or text

iPhone-the iPhone is very good as it comes with 3g  so you can access the internet and download music and apps where ever you are. The bad thing though the more apps and music you start to download and more memory you use up  the battery won’t last very long. Overall i think it still a very good phone.

any laptop-Getting a basic laptop would only be good if you only wanted to use stuff like word and power point, but because it is a basic laptop the battery life properly wouldn't be very good on it. anything more than power point and word and programs like that also a longer battery life  you would need a more advanced laptop. Over all i think a basic laptop is only good for short term use.
Any iPod Is alright if you only want to put music on it off iTunes. But  if you want internet apps and a camera, you would need a more advanced iPod. Over all i think the basic iPod would be alright if you used it at work for music so it wouldn't matter if it got broke.

tablet fire-Is like a iPad mini just alot cheaper which would be good for journalist because if it got broke it wouldn't matter as much.It also has internet connection and an app store and you can download books onto it. But it doesnt have a very big memory or long battery life. Over all i think the tablet fire would be good for use at work but you would be better off with an iPad when your at home.

You can put passwords on your laptop phones etc so if someone did steal it they couldn't get on to anything. Also you can get tracking devices that you can install on to your computer if it gets robbed and you can see where it is on your phone like on the iPhone your can download the app that connects to the tracker downloaded to the laptop.

the law for example that the school uses is that the school have Sims for our data and all the medical history, phone numbers,  attendance and private information and we have use the data protection act so if anyone tries to get in they'll be punished for it so its exactly like loosing your phone and someone using or taking all your data out of it so they could get punished for it

This shows how much it costs for bt wi-fi and if you phone them up you can use it anywhere by logging in and it costs nothing so it saves you buying a dongle for like £15 a month.

The coverage is good because you can use it anywhere in the uk if you sign in to your bt account on your phone/laptop/ipad and its not slow its fast.

the smartrphone and the laptop would be the same if you connect it to the same router or the same bt account.

protocols and devices keep data safe by password so they cant get in and lock them but also on computers there are accounts, firewalls and anti viruses but also turn off your bluetooth on your phone aswell or put a password on it do they cant get onto it because they can call people off your phone and use all your credit but there are the things like 3g Bluetooth and wi-fi that they can get in to to get your passwords but if you dont keep it safe they can control you by doing things like bank account hacking and taking money

if you dont have a password on bluetooth people can get hold of it and hack it and start phoning people of it and use all your credit so there incharge of it now

if you dont keep your wi-fi protected they can use your internet for free so your paying for them

you should protect your 3g by puting a pass code lock on your phone so people cant hack into the things you use on your phone like using facebook

nit 14 p6

a) social life. Choose from: human interaction eg text messaging, multimedia messaging, emails, virtual offices; health issues eg posture, RSI, eye strain; environmental effects eg visual impact of phone masts, disposal of components; illegal imagery:

  1. human interaction when you stay on a thing your addicted to like an Xbox you forget how to speak and loose loads of knowledge and cant be bothered doing thing like going out .if i did that i would be on the xbox but i think my mum would take it off me because my eye site would get wierd and start forgeting things
  2. visual impact phone masts when its in a country side for example and they put a huge pole coming from the ground and if you buy a new house in the country side it destroys your view . if i lived there i would be complaining because i just bought it and i bought it because there was a nice view but the next day they put a pole infront of it

b) the law. Choose from: data security eg accidental loss, theft; hacking activities eg wardriving, piggybacking:

  1. data security when you put a password on it so no one can get on it e.g our sims network because it has our addresses and things on it. they could get into your accounts e.g bank accounts and take all the money out for example but alsothey can log into your computers and delete everything .if it was me and i didnt put a password and someone got on it , it would be my fault because i havent put a password on it
  2. piggybacking when your at home and you connect to someone else's internet so your paying for someone to use your internet and there using it for free without you knowing so thats why you put a password on it. if my next door neighbour uses my internet without me knowing i will get the blame for it because its my broadband
